Aerial Infrared Survey
Case Study
Why Perform an Aerial Infrared Moisture Survey
1. Provides an overview of the entire roof surface from an elevation of 1,300 feet or lower altitude.

2. Entire roof surface is surveyed at the same time of night, allowing for unique imaging for benchmarking overall conditions.

3. May greatly reduce overall costs on larger projects by quickly identifying major wet area regions on poor condition roofs, thereby, reducing on-the-roof survey time by several nights.

4. Projects with multiple locations are quickly assessed, thereby, reducing on-the-roof survey time by several nights.

5. Includes daytime aerial photographs that map the entire roof area from all compass directions.

6. Thermograms (infrared images) and daytime photos are coordinated for easy identification of roof areas.

7. Digital video and photo imaging is edited by our staff and can also be edited by client.

8. Projects that require only infrared imaging or only daytime photos are accepted.
Pricing may vary based on region, per hour cost of flight time and size of project. Please contact Midwest Infrared Services office for quotation.
Aerial Infrared Moisture Survey Thermograms and Building/Construction Photographs
Survey Date: 8-13-2000 Altitude: 1,300 Ft Thermographer: Richard J. Mansfield C.I.T.# 4184.
This view shows the NE corner of the plant. The white spots on the roof are ventilators, drains and ect. The rooftop infrared moisture survey and moisture meter verification tests revealed no areas of wet insulation in this area. Notice though, the shaded area in the parking lot. The vehicles shown on the left were there all day, keeping that area cool.
Survey Date: 8-13-2000 Altitude: 1,300 Ft Thermographer: Richard J. Mansfield C.I.T.# 4184.
This view shows the Northwest corner of the plant, looking from the south. The anomalies (white spots) on the roof surface are ventilators, drains etc. The rooftop infrared moisture survey and physical verification process identified only minor problems in this area.
Midwest also provides aerial photography for construction companies, real-estate agents and others.
